This is quite a basic fingering chart for the saxophone. It is applicable to the vast majority of saxes, including alto, tenor, soprano and bari saxophones. Do bear in mind that each saxophone does vary somewhat in key layout.
How to use this chart: It is fairly simple to use really. If you look at the front of your saxophone you will see 6 large round (usually pearl) finger rests, these are represented by the six circles on the chart. The first three of your fingers on each hand should always hover over these keys (left hand on top). The other symbols represent the side keys. If you have just started playing saxophone, you will probably have some difficulty playing the lowest notes (furthest to the left).
